I was lucky enough to have Falcon shocks approach me to use my truck as a test vehicle for their new Tundra system.

I’ve been a Falcon dealer for a while now and we have worked directly with them on all 3 Toyota kits now.

These are the 3 position adjustable tow/haul versions.

My front shocks are set to the leveled height and have one more notch to go up higher.

    Here are some teasers.

    What is "tow/haul"? compression damping?

Will the price point be similar to the "other" truck shocks and do you use existing coils?

I don’t have any experience with Falcon and have never heard of them, do you mind explaining some of their features and benefits?

Just looked them up. Taco front and rear kit just shy of $1500 with bump stops, no coils

Yes. It has 2 tow settings that basically stiffen the rear up

Excited for this I know falcon shocks are very well respected and used in the wrangler scene but this is the first time I've seen them on tundras.

Yeah, I didn't realize Falcon had started offering setups for trucks, let alone the Tundra. Thought Falcon were pretty much for Jeeps.

    Yes Utah.

Teraflex owns Falcon shocks. They have primarily been a Jeep brand for years.

They actually used to do a bunch of machining, design and building for King.

    2.25” shock body.
Everything inside and out is billet machined and hard anodized coated for durability. They don’t skimp on any details.

Each shock is specifically designed for each vehicle instead of starting with an already manufactured shock assembly.

Anti squeak bushings and bumps, roost guard for the rear to protect the rear shock shafts.

For me, the tow/haul adjustability is the selling factor.
I have experience with the Tacoma and 4Runner kits and the amount of control they give you back when towing is incredible.

I tow pretty heavy already and plan to go heavier this spring, so that for me is the most important thing.

Will these come with new springs or reuse the OEM ones? And any idea on how much lift we can expect with these?

That must have been a loooong time ago when they started in the mid-90’s.

All machining is in house for quality control.

They do not come with springs.
They are designed to use factory springs.

There are 4 different front height adjustment levels, but I don’t know the exact heighths of them as they may change.

Mine is sitting around a 2”-2.5” level currently with one more step to go.

I had the tuff country 2” level before and this looks just a tad higher than that.

I am not sure yet, the kit is still being developed.

I am confident they will make the rear shocks longer for lifted applications.

I have the CB+1 shackles and have no issues with my prototype setup.
