Quick question. Those are LED headlights but they have an incandescent bulb for the turn signal?

Did the ARB rear differential breather mod today. I don't know if it's just me but after doing this mod it made me want to bury my truck in water.

Ran that hose to the rear driver taillight and hooked it up to the below pic of filter.

 

Yup. Kills me that they don't have LED marker or turn signal bulbs. I did LED markers when I put my lights in, but wasnt sure on what blinkers because I was worried about hyper flash. So I'm stuck with halogen for a while.

Which bulbs did you use ? I did mine tonight too and not to sure I like it

 

Like it so far. My water port is attached, and my shovel mount so far. More to come in a bit.

How solid do you think the waterport mount is? Did you do anything special?
I still have my waterport sitting in the box.

 

The bracket itself is solid. Full of water and mounted to the bed rail while wheeling has failed me 2 separate times. Mounting it to the rack is way more solid than the bed rails. We will see how it fairs in Death Valley.

 

The washboard trails are unforgiving, they will find a weakness if it exists.
I'd like to get mine on for Death Valley.

 

You should go for it. 5min bolt up to the RCI rack and you’re done

 

Installed cheap seat warmers from Costco!! $14.99 worth a try, if it doesn't work out then it's an easy refund.

 

tire rotation (yeah I know...riveting) ...something that shouldn't require penetrating oil and a BFH to break the wheel loose.


I'm going out on a limb and say that they didn't rotate these kicks (or lube the driveshaft) at the 10k service before selling me the truck. ...did they even change the oil? Guess what I'm doing this weekend.

A super-thin coating of Evinrude triple-guard marine grease applied to the rotor/wheel mating surfaces.


Took the opportunity to crack the bleeders, free-up the pins & shoot-on more fluid film.

Tell u what, u stop by on your next road trip around my way and I'll crawl under there and do it for u. I'll have it done like a quick lube, 30 min or less, and you'll be good to go. I'd do that for you, especially after I stole my arb kit and the rotopax from you.

Does the carpet attach with some double sided tape? My tailgate has a nice big dent in it from the previous owner, this may hide it lol

 

Just noticed that the bed bolts get sprayed with the oem bed liner

 

I put on 18" Method Racing Wheels MR305 in bronze with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers 33x12.5x18. I'm looking to make a video review of these tomorrow or Friday and hopefully have it posted on Monday.

Any specific questions/info you would like see addressed in the video?
