I have done this. I just simply picked up resistors from Canadian tire (obviously in Canada) but you should be able to get them lots of places

I have added VLEDs to my '18. I have no hyperflash but i had gotten the resistors just in case.

Thats cool. I been wanting to get LED’s for my turn signals because they are just so damn lame. Its like I always wonderd if the car in the opposite direction could actually see them. So yours dont require resisters? Thats the only thing that was holding me back on getting them because Im not sure how to wire up the resistors. Where did you get them? Thanks!!

Built-in-resistors, probably won’t last but they were $30CAD (I’m in Canada too). Ran hazards 10min to get them hot, no hyperflash. I did the DRL amber delete mod so they’re really only on when turning.

I have the V-LED switch backs, a little expensive but, all plug and play no modifications needed. White lights for DRL and amber for turn indicators.

Have no experience with Headlight Revolution, decided to go with VLED. Truly plug and play. Kit came with all that is needed. I did mine without disassembling the grill, and headlight removal, really not that bad and only took about a hour. Night and day difference and I have the peace of mind that oncoming traffic can see my turn signals.

Yeah, I just dont get how Toyota can be so cheesy with these turn signals especially on a big truck!!. I can see if this was my first truck and just accept the way they are but coming from a 2017 Ram, the freakin turn signals were lighting up signs half way down the block. Would you mind sharing where you got your VLEDs from?

Bit the bullet and got the Triton V6, the base is machined aluminum. Not cheaply built, VLED has a web site but the application chart at the top of the page will not let you select 2018. "No information available." Emailed sales and they said that the 7443 in amber was the bulb that I needed. Beware, they aren't cheap. But I figured that with the 3 year warranty and the upgrade that it would be worth a try. Could not be happier.

Don't think it's necessary to mod with iHacker's current harness, already built in. Previously, the ambers were on in DRL mode when I first installed.

    0P8A8920.jpg

I prefer them off for safety. When I turn, it's flashing on its own without the opposing one still on. There's also a quick mod to keep fogs on in DRL too, thread here somewhere.

Thinking seriously about doing the rear with the Triton's also. I got their resistor pack with the fronts just to get the plug and play, removes all doubt about wiring. Just haven't got the balls to take the rear light off secondary to possible body scratches yet!

2 torx and pull it off exactly like the vid, done it a couple of times. Had cheap LED reverse, replaced with better ones. Not the body scratches to worry about, those damn tabs seem like they'll break if not careful.

Rx350 retrofitted, Morimoto Led fogs. interior and exterior leds swap. TRD drop in filter. Carbon filter delete. Led DRL panels. TRD Shift knob.
    I have these for front:
    http://www.jdmastar.com/product/753...Bulbs-for-Limited-Space-Vehicle-Set-of-2.html

    These for the rear:
    http://www.jdmastar.com/product/778/GX-3020-SMD-7443-7440-LED-Bulbs-Set-of-2.html

Resistor i used for the rear only:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-PCS-50W-...&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&redirect=mobile

I had disable the drl because i do not prefer amber drl. Therefore the switchback led i have will only turn ON white while the parking/headlights are ON. It will switch to amber/yellow when blinker is activated, then switchback to white.
This mean i do not have any drl during the day.. im in the process of getting these for my drl though.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pair-LED-B...&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&redirect=mobile

Only the rear resistors are used, no hyperflash at all. No need for front resistors.
    Hope this help.

I’d like to know as wel! I went to order just now and you have to pick hyperflash fix or no hyperflash fix.
I would assume we need it, but I don’t like to assume.
