I know that we have the leveling motors in our trucks headlights and that they adjust up n down to our liking but it seems to me that my left headlight beam is a bit lower than the right side when you really look at on street or when on level ground and about 10 to 15 feet from a wall... anyway to adjust this???

Yes. Behind each head light assembly, there are two manual adjuster screws. One directly behind it adjusts it up an down and one more toward the side adjusts it side to side.

    On your 14' I believe you can o my adjust up/down. It's a white/clear looking adjustment bolt.

Good to know. Thanks. I wonder why they took the side adjusters out (I haven't fooled around with the side adjusters yet).

Driver side is a bit lower from factory so you don't blind on coming traffic.

Never heard of that. Is there somewhere that you might be able to suggest where I could read about that?

    section 2.1

Doesn't designate that manufactures intentionally beam the headlights like that, but LHD headlamps do beam a certain way as opposed to RHD headlamps. Yes, we have the adjustments, but if we are talking about straight from factory I believe that the driver side has been lowered just a bit to not blind/glare oncoming traffic.

    Here is also another reading

Even with my retrofits, I still beamed the driver a bit lower..

I dug around some and found those sites too. I didn't find anything specifying a lower setting for the left lamp from the factory either.

check the second link, it states:

    Lower Beam: FMVSS 108 definition
A beam intended to illuminate the road and its environs ahead of the vehicle when meeting or closely following another vehicle.

Low beam headlamps must project an asymmetrical pattern that provides adequate forward and lateral illumination but controls glare by limiting light directed towards preceding or oncoming drivers. International ECE Regulations require a beam with a sharp, asymmetric cutoff creating a defined separation at the top of the pattern compared to the North American SAE beam standard that allows a more fuzzy transition at the cutoff in the asymmetrical pattern.

Yep, read those. Thanks for posting the links for us. Neither say anything about automobile manufacturers adjusting the driver's side lamp lower than the passenger side at the factory. Manufacturers could have an internal policy of doing exactly that though, and some may. Just because we haven't been able to find something that says they do or don't, doesn't mean that it doesn't happen.
