Current Situation

Kevin is getting a new ADD bumper today and my mechanic sends me this.....



Baja Designs light bar in the bumper and 2 BD side light bars. Once this is done, my build will be complete. I will then create a build post for The Kevin. I'll post bumper once it is on.....only thing better is if I could have done the work myself.

 

I want a bumper so bad

Not optimistic about the light output....has to be a better design but love the stealthiness of it.

 

Pictures don’t do it justice. Bud Built skid almost looks seamless with bumper.

 

I love that bumper... And love the sensors are still there as well. I'd think about doing a bumper if I can still have my sensors

What do you think of the s8 10” output? Worth it or go budget on the 10” bars? I’m picking up my Stealth Fighter tomorrow so just trying to figure out the best lighting options

 

Well, that's the nicest aftermarket bumper i have ever seen. I like the lights hidden, even at the cost of decreased output.

 

It looks like that little triangular insert could be removed to help output. Maybe replaced with a light mesh even

 

Yes, I can remove the side Stealth side grills. As for output, you need to adjust the angle for best output. My passenger side is perfect but my drivers side is too far down. For me, I will use these to illuminate far left and right when I’m in the woods. My retros and the light bar provide plenty of output straight down road. I still might remove the grills. Not sure yet.

I just noticed a special aluminum intercooler in your pic.. does Kevin have a supercharger? (I have a very similar intercooler in my truck...)

After playing, I think I have the angles adjust the way I like them and it doesn’t disturb folks on the rode....I’m very proud of this setup and I want to run them onroad, minus the front light bar, all the time. Anyway, I’m leaving the little grill on as the output meets my needs. Certainly a personal choice.

Well damn those expensive ......my local fabricator can make me one for 600 to 800 powder coated with light brackets

 

I’d go for it. Mine can’t. This fit perfectly and the sensors were simple plug n play.

 

After seeing mine up close, you’d have to have a hell of a fabricator to come out with these results. Finish quality is second to none. Their operation is impressive as hell. I was lucky enough to pick mine up in person. Here’s a video showing the process, certainly not a slap it together shop.
