Had to head up to Memphis from Baton Rouge with the wife this weekend for house hunting and the like. The drive up there was great, sun, road, sound of the tundra on the pavement. Nice and easy. Weekend was great, frustrating, maybe found a house, maybe not. Now here's the funny story, I had to head back down while the wife stayed so she could speak at St. Jude's, coming back tomorrow. I take 55 south, a little rain, a helluva lot of bumps and potholes. I get home pretty late, this morning I see one of my chrome covers on my steelies popped off. I had to laugh, I know I looked like a hillbilly trying to be a Jersey Shore guido rolling down the road like that!! Popped the rest of them off and just gonna ride like that until I get some proper wheels!
Moral of the story? Get wheels, it's less embarrassment LOL

Perfect excuse to mod your truck, haha.

Love Memphis. Lived in Oxford, MS for a year long time ago (not too far from Memphis).

Exactly!! Yeah, some areas are pretty cool, hard to find a place to live. Wierd city. One side of the street's safe, cross the street, you're in a bad area.

Neither had I but it came with my truck! You know the steelies? If you see chrome rims with the same pattern as a steelie, it's a hubcap. (They call then wheelskins)

We loved Memphis too! Lived in Bartlett for 3 years, then company relo'd us to Texas. Bartlett was so nice and friendly, it was hard to leave there...I know what you mean about finding a nice place...BBQ is great there...sorry for rambling...good story...good luck finding a place.

Oh I LIVE for BBQ!! I can't wait to try some places out. We're looking in midtown. Found a nice duplex there near Overton park and square. Nice area, pretty cheap. Perfect for two years. Now I just gotta find a job! LOL

Yup yup, I'm probably going to go for the BOSS suspension before I get the rims. Roads are terrible!
Nice suggestion, I'll definitely have to check it out!

Meh, you really only had to take the hub cap off the same side as you lost the one. Nobody can see both sides at once.

On a serious note though, call around to your local Discount Tire shops and ask for special orders that weren't picked up. I happened across a great looking set of wheels for my previous truck and they gave them to me at cost (~$50 each) and they were normally $600 for the set.
