let me preface this by saying I have not watched Pokemon since elementary school, but when I did I watched it every chance I got. :D
With that being said, how do people find the time to go out and search for these Pokemon?

With everything that may seem like a great idea, some criminal will find a way to take advantage of people-

    "O'FALLON, Mo. (WLS) --
Police in O'Fallon, Missouri are investigating a series of armed robberies believe that the robbers used the Pokemon Go smartphone app to target victims, according to a post on the Four suspects were arrested early Sunday morning near the intersection of Highway K and Feise Road in O'Fallon after a report of an armed robbery. Police say they are suspected of multiple armed robberies in St. Louis and St. Charles counties in Missouri. A handgun was recovered.

Police believe they used the game to, "add a beacon to a pokestop to lure more players" and then used the app to locate victims.

Pokemon Go is an "augmented reality" game that allows users to capture, train and battle Pokemon who appear in the real world. Players can pick up supplies at real-world landmarks that serve as "pokestops" in the game.

Pokemon GO users have also reported becoming injured while trying to catch the digital monsters."

    Source

Just like texting, people are now becoming injured while playing this game as they are not paying attention to their surroundings.

Those that I see texting and walking are setting themselves up to be a victim of a crime. If you're not aware of your surroundings, some shit head will take notice of it and take full advantage. For those that have family and friends who do this- I would caution them.

I didn't know this app/game/thing? existed until just now...lol. The few people I've seen start posting pokemon stuff lately honestly thought they were just trying to relive their childhood haha.

This is getting out of hand lol

On a side note, if I was a bar owner- I would purchase some lures or whatever they are called and put some at the bar. Easy way for customers to come in and have a drink.

Situational awareness seems to be a lost art. Just roll your cart done any grocery store isle and see how long it takes someone to move their cart out of the middle of the isle.

Be interesting to see the # of reported accidents/deaths after the first two weeks related to this game.

Had a fun time messing with the guys in the service department this morning who were all on their phones looking for pokemon when I got to work.

Told em to lmk when they are ready to link up gameboys and battle it out.

I am thinking pretty much the exact same thing. As a parent i would never allow my kid to play any kind of pokemon anything. When i was a kid we played with GI JOES and watched Mr. T!!
But it really does not suprise me that adults are into things like this...it is just pathetic. IMO

Agreed. The wife is an emergency room nurse and had a patient that walked right out into traffic and got hit while playing this mindless nonsense.

Lol petty funny. I was just outside of the age range for watching Pokemon as a kid. Never liked it. Thought I was funny seeing people playing Pokemon card games in HS.

Def doesn't seem like a good idea to have real life locations to go to to collect items in the game. Could see some young kids getting lost it kidnapped.

This game is being used to distract millions away from the REAL MAJOR problems in our country. Released right now when the S is starting to hit the F and mindless people just walk around glued to some STUPID game on their phone. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!
