I've found it's much easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.:D

    My wife noticed:
Kings (found package on back porch - doesn't help they're bright fucking blue either)
    Wheels/Tires
    Bedrack

    She did not notice:
    LED Headlights
    MGM honeycomb grill
    painted end caps on bumpers
    Upper icon arms

I have an RCI skid arriving shortly that she won't notice unless she finds the package before me, and DirtyDeeds 10" system - not sure on that one LOL.

    Ha! Keep us posted.

Maybe I should ask for links to good sized dog houses. May add that to our mods lists.

Everything possible ships to my office - DD exhaust, wheels, suspension, Enve grille, sub box. My work is used to it now. Truck has a bed cover and items can hide there until I install or I can hide items on the other side of my car in the garage once home.

If the woman ever got pissed at me spending the money I earned after all the bills Are paid on mods I'd have to get her something to make her not pissed.

    Women are crazy.

I do this too for smaller items. On the larger items I don't want my employees to end up with the "oh, must be nice" attitude LOL.

The girlfriend kind of thought the exhaust got louder, she confirmed when she found the huge TRD boxes on the side of the house (should’ve broken them down).

As long as I can get the boxes by her she normally doesn’t notice the small stuff, though some things are harder to hide than others...

you’re not wrong.... lots of them are 2 day projects that are hard to justify starting when your working 70+ hours a week....

No kidding. There is one that is across the street from my neighborhood that is pretty much the same size as my place but is on 2 Acres with more then enough room for a 1000sq ft shop.... only 400k....

To add to somebody else’s response, normally if you buy them something too it’s not so bad.

A day at the spa bought me enough credit for a TRD Pro Grille (I think!!)

    THIS is Fing Hilarious!!!
THANK GOD my wife NEVER asks me! It's pretty funny actually.

Last night I had 2 boxes, and I'm always like "Fuck, what is in those - please don't ask me, please don't ask me"
Then - my 6yr old son brings BOTH boxes to me - and is like "Dad, can I open the boxes up?!?!" Right in front of my wife.
I was like - fuuuuuuck! What's in these things! LMAO!!! And I was like - sure Weston (son), go ahead.
Ended up they were wiper blades which I gladly lifted up so the wife can see - and then the other box was a pressure regulator for the N20 bottle setup I'm putting together for adjusting the Kings - I didn't hold that one up for her LOL.

Pretty much all of my girlfriends think it’s stupid that I spend as much as I do on my truck. That usually comes out after we break up hahaha.

My money my rules. If I can’t take you to dinner because I spent all my money on the truck, too bad :anonymous:
