    Howdy Folks!

    I've owned an '01 Silverado since new... but put her in the rear-view for the last time, while riding off into the sunset in a barely-used CPO '17 Limited (11,807 miles young):

    The salt belt got the best of the old Chevy... but it won't be taking this Tundra so easily; I emptied a gallon of fluid film on the entire chassis, suspension, inside body panels, rockers, doors, tailgate and cab corners.

    Ha... It's a good question. That old chevy didn't owe me anything... I failed her by not treating for rust early.

    Believe it or not, the wife's '09 Matrix, which I do all of the work on, played a big role in my decision to jump ship. It's @ ~ 180k miles and the undercarriage and mechanicals still look great...super easy vehicle to work on / maintain. :thumbsup:

    It's funny that you say that; I called a dealer (100 miles away) about a low-mile magnetic grey that was already spoken for. The rejection was short-lived when the super-white popped-up when I was scrolling through their preowned inventory... They were willing to come down another G in price and I was on he road an hr later. :thumbsup:

    I live 10 minutes from there. Didn't buy mine there, they wanted 3k more than what I paid. I went 1 hour west to Middletown, plus my friend works there.
