What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Yup I’ve ran through so many of them already and I see lots for other sizes and offsets I was just trying to be sure... also different responses. Just wanted to see if anyone had the same set up if they wanted to chime in

Just hit 100k..
My engine just brake in.. lol

 

Vinyl wrapped chrome cupholder trim. Sunny days and the dang thing was blinding.

It's not bad. Watched a few videos online to help. Botched first attempt by overstretching. Just have to take your time and work a small section at a time.

 

Got a used grab bar on ebay. The selling had already trimmed it to fit and included all the hardware I needed to install on my tundra.
Install took 5 minutes, I'm liking it so far.

 

Added black trd shifter knob.

 

Installed a toolbox, tired of stacking everything in the rear footwells.

 

Cheapest thing I have done yet! $25 on Ebay. High grade vinyl and took about 30 min to add to the hood bulge. Love the look and I get a lot of compliments on it. Changed the whole attitude of the big Tundra front end.

The original key's internal parts were transferred to the new flip key. You can simply open the original key and take out the transponder which is very small and a little tricky to remove and the main component which is large and easy to remove. And then my locksmith cut the key for $3.

Did you use a hair dryer to get it to conform to the small pockets?

Here is what I’ve done lately...custom LEDs for the bulge...and I went with steel Interior accents on the inside

Had some free time and the weather was okay so I did .......

Sprayed the seats and carpets with 3M fabric protection.

Putco Blade light under tailgate.

3rd brake light hyper flash....flashes 5x then solid.

Rear differential vent mod.

Noticed dent on left bottom side of tailgate so I covered it with the blacked out 4x4.....cant tell now.

Put on drivers side lightly tinted taillight.....ran out of time, had to take son to baseball game.

Under hood/engine bay lights.....have to buy smaller terminals for the switch tomorrow.



Forgot to take picture with hose on new valve

Hopefully I can finish up tomorrow. Need to put other taillight (passenger side) , finish under hood lights, black doors emblems and FRAC harness.

 

I was lucky to score this on Ebay, it was already trimmed for dash speaker wires and came with hardware included for $120. Going rate for new seems to be about $160. Everyone that has one raves about it. I don't have any big expensive mods like lift or wheels, but what I have done so far I love and is useful to me and the truck. Like this grab bar, pro grill, trd sway bar, BAM exhaust, 2018 led lights, wireless console charger and a few little things here and there. @Roman has good pricing on these grab bars and excellent service.

 

Try this...it’s only $39.99 on Amazon and I get someone speaking to me everywhere I go...

39 bucks how powerful is the light seems like a really good deal

 

Purchased through Amazon but you can also order straight from Vivvid. I used a harbor freight heat gun but hair dryer would work as well, just have to pull up if air bubble found and keep rubbing until smooth. I also purchased a clear roll of 3m vinyl for my door sills from VViVid, just cut to fit, 6" x 72" roll was $20.
