Pretty awful, guys. I can't imagine how hard it is to be a police officer in this day and age. I heard there was going to be a protest in Dallas on my way home today and thought, there's no way I'd want to be anywhere near that city.

Multiple police officers shot, at least 4 killed by snipers during a protest in Dallas, Texas

    Pretty awful.

My youngest brother is a sheriffs deputy here in Oklahoma, family man who loves his kids more life, and I cannot imagine this happening to him. We are losing our country, as much as I hate to say it, we have gone so far I honestly do not know if we can get it back.

Your missing comma threw me off. Then realized that you weren't bad-mouthing the police officers.

Terrible news. I am not sure where we are headed as a society. So sad.

I know it. A good bit of my buddies and my brother in law's brother are police officers, sheriff's, etc. people don't realize how much of a stressful job being a cop is. EVERYTIME they pull someone over, hand them a ticket, or get called to something as simple as a domestic disturbance, they run the high risk that some idiot's gonna get triggered and start shooting at them! Not saying we don't have some who abuse their position, but the majority of them are good guys trying to make a difference. People have NO respect for any of America's values anymore. Bet you guys a million dollars and a new tricked out tundra, if we get rid of the service departments (police, fire, EMT, etc) those who are protesting will be the FIRST ones to want them back!!

Very sad news. Seams like violence, racism, murder are on the rise. Makes my heart hurt.

My brother in law is an officer for the city of Fort Worth and my heart just hurts for him, my sister in law, and their son on days like this. I wanted him to just call in sick today and stay home but that's not his style. He is out there doing his job that he is sworn to do. It feels like the entire DFW area is just in some sort of haze today.

Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt... I added that comma. It was late last night and from being tired and disgusted by what happened, I didn't realize I didn't add one.

Very well written, one hell of a strong woman she is!

My prayers are out to all those officers who were either killed or injured in these attacks. God bless all of you guys on here that wear a badge everyday, just know there are still people who appreciate everything that you do.
