    That would explain it. :D

Also, the load times are seriously bad. What you can do is grab an external SSD, and load the game onto it. It dramatically cuts down on load times. Has to be an SSD, though. Just a normal external HD won't do it. I ordered these:

    https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0781Z7Y3S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
    https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OJ3UJ2S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

All that is correct. Game is back to what it should have been after D1 ended.

Sent you my GT as well. :)

It use to be that increasing the RAM would give a significant boost in performance to a gaming PC. Now it's an SSD.
Eve Online and BF4 load so much faster, as well as the OS, when on an SSD. Platter based drives are simply for mass storage nowadays.
I actually have three SSDs and two platter based drives in my PC.

I've had them all as well.

    Atari
    NES, SNS, N64, Gamecube, Wii
    PS, PS2, PS3, PS4
    Xbox, Xbox 360, XOne
    Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast
    Atari Jaguar

Mostly play the PS4 now, with some XOne here and there, and even the 360 to play NCAA '14. Playing Ghost Recon Wildlands with a buddy is lots of fun and an awesome all around game. Can't wait for Red Dead Redemption 2 to come out later this month.

I play xbox 1x, ps4, and pc. I definitely like my xb more than the ps4, but between the xb and pc I don't think I prefer one over the other. I enjoy different games on both equally as much. I also have a SNES, but I don't play it very often due to not having anyone to play with. I've been playing ARK on pc and Tera on ps4 lately.

I finally snagged a couple of exotics, only to find out you can only equip one at a time. That SUCKS. This game is fun, but man it takes a lot of work.

One thing I really like is seeing other players in the open world. That’s pretty cool. You don’t get that in The Division outside of hubs or the Dark Zone(PVP). In the Dark Zone if you see another player they’re going to try and kill you and take your loot.
The only other way to see other players is to group up with them. I will say Destiny should have a matchmaking feature across the board. It’s weird not to have that option. It’d also be nice to be able to share loot with other players like you can in The Division. That’s one thing that kept me playing once I’d done and gotten everything. I could play with friends or randoms and make their day by giving something they didn’t have. The only caveat was they had to be in your group when you acquired it, unless you were still in the Dark Zone.
I used to run solo in the DZ, and if I got something good I’d send out a message in Discord. I’d tell them what I had, and if someone needed it they could come find me there, kill me, and take it. Then I’d respawn and help them extract it. I had a lot of fun doing that for a few months. It got to where people would message me and ask me to let them know about stuff before I announced it publicly.

Dude, a kid in my little town growing up won a colecovision in a box of cereal. No lie. It was the most mind-blowing thing my young brain had experienced at the time. I guess they gave away certificates in cereal in the 80s to help market it.

Yea, that's the thing with exotics. They're too powerful to run more than one at a time. You could really be invincible in a lot of different game modes.

It sounds like a good thing on the surface to have matchmaking with everything, but it would be terrible. Even LFG sites are terrible. Simple stuff like strikes and normal pvp where it doesn't require much coordination is fine, but when you get into a raid or competitive pvp where communication is crucial.... no thanks. I've got pages and pages of like minded guys I can play with, so picking up some random blueberry is no bueno.

I usually try to help out with some lower level guys, or some of the guys that haven't been through a raid or some of the difficult content. Loot isn't always guaranteed, but they usually level up pretty good when running that sort of thing. You're right about it being satisfying to help other people out.

If you ever play D2 on the Xbone, hit me up. I can PM you my GT.

The Division isn’t bad with randoms usually. Most players have everything figured out, so not much communication is required. The exception is when there’s a sale, a major update, or the situation with a bunch of people being frustrated with Destiny, that brings in a lot of new players at once. There also isn’t any content that’s going to take hours to finish. In a group of four, you might end up with one or two green players on occasion, but you can jump on the mic and walk them through it. If it’s bad enough you can kick someone and open matchmaking back up.

It helps that The Division is cover-based, so the pace is a lot slower, and good equipment is a lot easier to come by. It’s a little too easy currently, since they’ve added activities that guarantee exotics and classified gear. It used to be that certain things only dropped in certain places, at like a 1% drop rate. Ask any long time player about Lexington Event Center and they’ll show signs of PTSD.

Can't wait for The Division 2 to drop. Loved the first game, the story line just wasn't long enough. Me and a buddy went through it pretty fast. DZ was ok, but never played it enough to really get something good.

Anybody playing Red Dead Redemption 2? I started it over the weekend. It’s cool, but so far very slow. I’m a few hours in, and it could be called “Horseback Riding Simulator 2018”.

I uh....played it a lot. My rankings have actually dropped quite a bit since I haven’t played in several months.

Yeah I did, pretty awesome. Game for sure starts slow to teach you how to play and set up the story. Just made it out of the mountains and to the first town. For sure a lot more to do now. Love it so far!

Nice, but the games suuuuucked. I remember the TMNT game being extremely lame at the time that the arcade version was hitting NES. It was more the fact that he won a free freaking system that made me extremely jealous.

Still rockin' BF4. I have BF1 as well, but find the load times between maps way too long and not enough variety in the weapons or game play.

I'm looking forward to BF V. Not paying $70 for it. I'll wait till some nerd finishes it and trades it in so I can buy it for $20. :D

BF4 and Eve Online (both PC) are the only games that I currently play. BF1 sucked and I returned it. BFV open beta sucked and I cancelled the pre-order.

Got it a few weeks ago and love it. Starts slow, but once you get to chapter 2 it opens up a lot. I have tried the online play, but can't really get into it as much.

Yeah I finally got far enough into it to enjoy it. Those first few hours are a chore. There’s also some pretty ridiculous issues for such a well made game.
