Anyone out there running 37's? If so fill me in on your thoughts please. I greatly appreciate it and anyone out there has pictures too. From mileage to any pros and cons about them. I'm thinking about going with Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ 37x12.50x20, on my 2014 crewman tundra, w/6inch s/lift.

Pros: They look good. They provide an inch more of clerance over 35s. You learn to stop caring about MPG.

Cons: They're not 40s. Your speedometer will be ~4mph behind.

Also be prepared to do some trimming if you plan to actually offroad with your truck.

    Pros: looks badass!
Cons: more strain on the trans/engine to push. Are you s/c'd? Re-geared? If not, I would consider that.
Cost for replacement will be much more when time is due for new tires.

Ref the speedometer- that can be corrected via the HT speedometer calibrator.

Yea, it'll put strain on the truck's moving components overall but if he's not really wheeling it or doing long road trips every weekend he should be fine I think.

I have 37s with a supercharger at the moment. I'm going to 40s soon with my 7" lift and then will regear after I get those on.

But on a stock drivetrain and tune, it's going to be rather stressful on it. (Presuming he's stock in that dept)

For reference, the blue circle is what I ran on my FJ for 3 years with absolutely zero mechanical problems and the loss of power wasn't significant unless you're comparing it to a brand new FJ. The FJ was loaded with metal bumpers, sliders, skids, roof rack, and so forth. It still drove great even after all the heavy-pedal driving and rock crawling.

The red circle is where my Tundra is at now. Once I go to 40s, I'll be at the pink circle. Once I regear, I'll be at the green circle. I should be fine running at that end goal, especially with the supercharger. :D

Have thought about that before on re-gearing, I currently have my speedometer calibrated set with my 35's. Any good reviews on the Nitro re-gearing kit?

Yes, I want to eliminate straining on my trucks components as much as possible. Don't really go on long hauls except vacation times some hunt trips to our deer lease, work here for me is only 10 or less min away, but still don't want that to stress my truck in the long run.
