We just got this snow last night, so not much time to test them. I run studded snows up here, so they’re coming off in a few weeks.

Just ordered Toytec/Eibach 3" coilovers with 1.5" rear shackles, SCS Ray10 18s in Matte Gunmetal, N-Fab Predator Nerf Bars, TRD Pro Grille, and color matched mirror caps and handles. Will be having it all installed with 295/10/18 Ridge Grapplers late next week. Also getting my bumper end caps Line-X'd. My wallet hates me, but I figured I'd get it all out of the way at once.... until I want to do other things.

Oh wow you went all out! It’s gunna look super good when it’s done. If you don’t mind me asking how much are you paying to have the end caps line-Xd?

Going to find that out in the next couple days. The guy wouldn't give me a quote over the phone. He wanted to see the truck in person. I'll let you know when I find out.

Will do, man. Anything to get rid of this chrome. I don't trust myself enough to make it look good with plastidip. I think the Line-x will look really good though.

I just went with @Roman for the mirror caps, handles, and Pro grille. I know plastidip comes off, but I'm not doing anything like that myself.

Thanks. Did it in my driveway, also did the front skidplate. I've never used it before but online reviews are good for the product. I roughed up the chrome with a variety of sandpaper, finally settling on 80 grit. It was more work than I thought it would be, broke some plastic wheel well clips (38ish bucks) and the parking sensors are somewhat of a PITA to re-install. That said, I am probably going to do my rear bumper now, it's color matched and should rough in a lot easier than sanding chrome.

Do you have any more pics of your truck from the side? I like the fender flares, not too big, they look good.

What hulk said, you don't need new hog rings. Unclip the existing seat covers from underneath/behind. Use needle nose pliers and yank out those hog rings, stick on seat heater, replace rings with zip ties instead (they're buried, you don't feel them). The heaters have an open channel to reinstall zips. You can put the switches anywhere you like, vid below how to get into center and pic of mine. And the wire is tapped into your fuse for power into the slot that says Seat Heater so it only turns on with ignition.

as much as i'd like to say that it's my wife's fault cause she was driving, i may or may not know how it happened...lol

had my windshield tinted several weeks ago and after I left I noticed a small crack they caused.....but it is no longer small apparently. They are splitting my co-pay and redoing their work.

Glad they are helping out this this. Are you getting a Toyota OEM windshield?

Small cracks if not repaired will grow. Once a rock hit my windshield driving back from Tahoe. Started as a tiny crack and I got to watch it spread all across the windshield as I was driving.

yea, I know. i contacted the shop that day and they were cool about it even though he was saying "i can't prove it." my insurance goes through safelite, i just made my appointment and requested OEM, will call today and verify...if not i can go to the dealership (not ideal)

With AAA its (I think) a $100 deductible for replacement and no impact in insurance. Repairs are free. They have always replaced with Safelite - interested to know if you can go OEM for a little more.
