Funny my friend is the Internet and fleet sales manager at that dealer. I bet I could get a better deal than that.

It is not a TOYOTA thing from my ubderstanding. If the dealership is independently owned then most are adding Mark Up however if dealership actually a TOYOTA owned dealership then they dont. That is the BS excuse I got when I bought mine and asked why some places were adding a Mark Up.

Gotta love dealership mark ups! You should see the mark ups at my local dealer for dealer installed aftermarket goods! Lift kits running like 8,000 dollars and procomp wheels and tires running 6,000 dollars. At least they started using icon so there’s some quality there but people buy them so I guess the dealer wins.

Would that be "Mike" (forget last name)? I mostly dealt with him when I bought my 2018CM this past summer. He was good to work with.

No it was Aaron. If anybody needs a good guy hit me up and I can get you in contact with him. I screwed up and totally forgot about him when I bought my truck. He’s actually one of my best lady friends husband. We’ve been friends for over 22 years.

That's California. They mark anything up that is in demand. I remember when I was looking at a C series new generation. Sales guy says there was $5k Mark up due to market demand. Guy wouldn't even agree to let me test drive it to see if I even liked it. Said I had to agree that I would be willing to buy it.. WTH?! This was glendale CA.

TRD Pro trucks should be based on the Limited or better trim for these prices instead of SR5

I got mine for 500.00 under MSRP at Balise Toyota in West Springfield MA. Plus they gave me full trade in value on my 2013 Tundra DC. I had my name on it with a no money deposit since July 10th. There were 10 guys standing around it when I got there in the morning just after it had showed up the night before. They only get a couple a year and they easily could have sold it the same day if I hadn't taken it. Other Tundras you could negotiate with, but the supply and demand for the TRDP, I was happy with what I got for the price.

When I purchased my ‘18 Tundra I found a ‘19 Pro in black. Told them I’ll buy it then and there. They said it was a 5k above MSRP. Kept going back and forth and in the end I walked. I can’t justify paying anything over retail. Ended up buying my ‘18 MSRP at 52.5k for 46k+TTL.

Wise choice IMO. Paying that kind of money over retail just isn't worth it in my mind. For that matter, paying anything over retail I personally can't justify.

That markup is BS. I would not even try to do business with a dealer like that. My local dealer has a Pro with zero adjustment. They are not really that special that an adjustment is justified.

Dealers are such dickheads about their "Pros".

Unless you just like spending money there's zero reason to buy a pro at markup.

Dealer in E Texas offered me a 2017 Pro at MSRP I told him to pound sand. He said sorry your loss and said no yours.

OK guys, so I finally got my 2019 TRD PRO in Voodoo Blue. AND I got it for $49800(this includes about $1k of add-ons) not including Tax and Title. I know many of you are wondering how. Well, get this. I tried the old way, called, went and talked to but finally I try something I never thought about until I was at Costco. Yep, I used their services. I had them look for dealers all over that were in both OHIO and TEXAS and had them reach out for me. Well, I finally found one that would work with me and yep. I got it for about $2300 under MSRP. As of today, I FINALLY got my truck. And it exceeds everything I expected to be.

    This!!!

Bought a new CR-V for my mom last Friday using Costco and I'll tell you what, if I ever bought a brand new vehicle for myself I'd use Costco again.

Very fair price ($800 under invoice) without any of the typical BS dealer add-ons and 15% off anything you do want added. Paperwork was ready to go when we showed up to pick up the car and we were out of there in just under an hour.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
