Just curious to see how everyone's Tundra is holding up at what mileage, and how you've taken care of it. I Just hit 43K on my 2010 tundra, need an oil change and tires aligned. Not sure what else, bout to take it in for an all purpose check up to see if it needs anything. Hate paying people to work on my truck because that is something I enjoy doing so I typically do stuff myself unless it requires a professional.

You know what they do on a 30K service? Checked my manual and don't understand some of the stuff they are telling me to check at 50k miles lol

I bring mine in to the dealership they basically run through the entire process for me, I couldn't figure out why my maintenance required light was on lol apparently our trucks are smarter than us!

Means maintenance (oil, tires rotated, etc) are due. You can reset that light yourself or have them do it if they are servicing your vehicle.

My '05 4x4 AC just hit 63k miles, but the previous owner did the belt, pump, fluids, etc at 50k miles because the truck was 10 years old. I expect this one to last almost forever. The '94 4Runner I had prior to the Tundra had 210k miles and ran like a champ, and my '83 4x4 shortbed Toyota pickup still runs great and doesn't use any oil at 275,000 miles. Still has its original rear brake linings, drums, and front rotors and calipers, too. All I've done to it in the past 25 years is a water pump, 3 radiators, one starter, and one alternator. This rig is my every day driver. IMO, any Toyota with less than 200k on the clock is 'low mileage'.

Dang looks good, had to do any major maintenence on it yet? Or just regular oil and fluid changes? I looked and apparantely I need to change differential oil, air filter, and I'm due for an oil change. They say synthetic can go longer but I still change every 5,000. And I need new windshield wipers, and have to get my tires aligned. Ugh.

I wipe it down with just a microfiber towel when I notice it looks a little dirty. Wax helps it wipe right off. Wash it about once a month just to get it all nice and clean. And I usually wax once every few washes. But yours looks nice I can tell you keep good care of it haha, and yeah time spent on your truck is always time well spent.

Nothing like old trucks still running great. I don't think I have anything major to do anytime soon, just wanting to make sure I get everything done that I'm supposed to! How do you know when you need a new belt?

Been using their products for several years. When you call to order or ask a question, you either speak to one of the 2 chemists that are the developers (brothers) or one of 'em's Wife. Duragloss's Pre-Polish is a 'Hardner' that gets applied with their Polish on top.Buff both products off together, wait till next day and spray&wipe with Aquawax. My truck can be dirty but sealed as it is,a "rinse&dry" is all it usually takes to make it "POP". Doesn't matter where Aquawax goes,(trim, glass or tires) it leaves no mess and can be used in full sun.

I had an emergency and was driving quickly home and jumped it over a 20ft frozen creek. Was still drivable which was a true testament to how good the tundras are. But to much little stuff to keep at that point.
