I was wondering if any of you guys know if there is a center front parking sensor. I know there are FL and FR because they are located on the bumper end caps. Since I removed my front bumper to linex the bumper caps, the front sensor doesnt seem to be going off when i inch up to a car. I do recall it displays a center front in the LCD display. I am wondering if maybe i broke it or did not reconnect a connector. Thanks in advance.

I have a 16 and it’s just the two sides. You have to put them back in exactly the way they came out I think and they like communicate to show something in center I think.

Thanks Alex. I have a 2016 too. Maybe its just the way I have been pulling up. I did put the two side sensors on and they are working.

I have an '18 Limited and I've never noticed an alert or icon for front center, only the front corners. I haven't had the chance to test it with a spotter, but I pull up within a few inches of the front when I park in my garage and there is never a front center alert.

I'm gonna install the FRAC camera next month anyways so I guess that will resolve this regardless. Thanks everyone.

Longer list than the wife needs to know about....
I have only 2 on either side of my 16.
They do work together to identify if anything is in the middle, however since adding my bumper I've noticed that I have a blind spot in the middle if I pull up to a pole it doesn't register. A car it will pick up as its wide enough for the sensors on each corner to see.

The angle is important, if you installed one slightly off then it might not be reading properly.

The best fix for this? Add the FRAC harness and camera in the grill.

I have a '18 Limited. The front only has 2 sensors, one on the right and one on the left, none in the middle. The rear has 4 sensors. I don't know why they left out front middle sensors. Most other vehicles with the parking sensors have them.

I wish there was a front/center sensor, as it's not really needed in the back since we have the backup camera, but oh well. Maybe I'll add a front camera at some point, just need to find one that fits nicely without being obvious.

Yes, there is no sensor in the front center. I don't know why - would totally make sense to have it. I am also considering the front camera.

I dont fully trust the parking sensors. The alerts seem inconsistent depending on height and angle of the obstacle.

They definitely don't allow you to get as close as you want. I use them for reference only on the corners when parking next to cars in a lot. I adjust when the tone changes to a solid note, but I don't use them at all when I park in my garage.
