I have a 2004 Tundra 4x4 sr5. Has anyone tried to put 2014 and up fender flares on their earlier model tundra? Thanks!

I feel like this wouldnt work too well? First gens have a pretty curved wheel well, and 3rd gens are more square , this will be an interesting discussion. If it works, i may have to try it

It will bolt on a 2007+. 1st gens are completely different, but anything is possibly if you work at it. Probably lot of fab work.

Thanks guys. So I picked up a set of 4 flares with the “hardware” included for $50. Time for some modification. Will keep you updated and include pics.

Ok guys. I may have wasted $50. The rear worked pretty well with a little fab. However the front in no way was close. Also we had to drill our own holes through the bottom. And they don’t look as good as I’d like. All in all I’d say don’t waste your time just buy ones for the right year model...

That said anyone know where I can find some for $200 or less :)

Dang i actually like how that looks, do you think the front would work with mine since i dont have a front bumper to have it go onto? Plus no i have bigger tires than the ones in this pic and i think it wilk bring it all together B608FB3D-155D-4E18-8B46-E3DAFCC39B99.jpg

I think they look pretty good on my truck for 50 bucks. The front fender flares aren't even really the right shape from the 2nd or 3rd gen trucks. One crazy idea we had was to use the opposite side flares to match the shape but even then they end up being too short in my opinion. I don't think they will work on your truck but if you can get some cheap Id try. That is a really nice looking tundra btw. Love that front bumper.
