2018+ LED HEADLIGHTS PLUG N PLAY HARNESS FOR 2014-2021 MODELS [V 2.0]

Didn’t get a chance to convert my 2016 1794, traded it in for 1794 instead. Someone take it off my hand. $80 shipped.

 

I got the Harness from @iHacker and like a dumbass I put it in backwards (the lights still worked). However, I got great support from @iHacker was able to get it right. Thanks I love my lights and the harness is great. Thanks

 

How did you put it in backwards? Is that easy to do? I’m about to order leds’s and ihacker harness...Thanks

 

I'm curious too, its plug and play and I don't see where you'd be able to mess up. But we all have our moments I suppose

 

Hi, I'm new here. I wish I would have found this forum sooner. I was just so excited to get my lights in, the factory DRL dimming feature never even crossed my mind. So I ordered the Headlight Revolution harness for Tundras with non LED DRL's, https://headlightrevolution.com/2014-2018-toyota-tundra-oem-led-headlight-conversion-harness/ . I have not received the LED DRL harness portion yet but headlights are installed and completely functional despite no LED DRL yet. My question now is can I use the Headlight Revolution harness with iHacker's relay harness or will I have to order all new harnesses and take everything apart again?

 

You will most likely have to get a new harness because the dimming feature is tied into the harness running into the cab.

 

Does anyone know if these connectors match? The picture with the white background is the Headlight Revolution harness and the other is iHacker (red arrows). If they do then I would only need the cab relay harness and the headlight extension harness from iHacker (yellow arrows)?

Will this harness work with the 2018 halogens?

For the halogens with single LED strip DRL a different harness is required

 

I have a 17 sr5 ,what if i DON'T want the Led DRL to work ,only the amber ones?Which harness ? Im assuming just dont hook up them up?Help lol

 

I think the harness for Platinum/1794 and the turn signal adapters can do that, not sure because I never tried that but should work.

 

Ok or i could just get the SR5 harness and NOT hook up led drl's and as long as it all works im good and i still have the wiring if i choose to use leds later,should work also im guessing.Rob

Yep, you can get the harness with bright all the time harness and skip the DRL wiring

 

The wire harness for old style Platinum/1794 Headlights and the new 2018+ SR5 (all options with halogen headlights and single LED DRL strip) looks like this


LED strip with dimming option when headlights is ON (ECU powered)





LED strip bright all the time powered with ignition




Installation is almost the same as the 2018 LED headlights guide in my thread with the only difference that you have to ground to chasis each side of the harness in both options

I put it the wrong way around, so I was trying to put the DRL delete wires through the passenger side firewall and it need to go through the drivers side. Through the passenger side the wire was too short. I hope that makes sense??

 

I had a 2016 1794 single led headlights, I bought a set from ihacker but sold my truck before I could use it. If he can confirm it will work you can have it $80 shipped.

How about the 2019 TRD Pro Fog Lamp. Is it plug and play for 2018 TrD off-road as well???

 

@InfernoPro15 which harnesses did you use for your install? I never thought about it, but does anyone know if I use the Headlight Revolution conversion & DRL harness, will my DRL's always been on bright even with headlights on? Not sure if that would look awkward

Yeah that’s correct, in the HLR harness the LED DRL work with ignition and stays at full intensity all the time no dimming option if you bought their harness. They just resell Retrofit Source harness.

2018 LED Fog lights


The 2018 LED fog lights are completely plug n play, identical to the 2014-17 halogen fog lights. Simply remove the old ones, and pop in these in their place no harness needed.
