New member here. Made my son inherit the Taco for only a pittance of its actual value. Got a 2016 Sunset Bronze Mica Limited early this month. I've had people come up to me in parking lots around town & comment on the color, some of whom have Tacos or Tundras for which they didn't know such a color was available or they would have opted for it.

Just today I had my trusted mechanic do a 1k oil change. He was just blown away with the Sunset Bronze color of the finish, but just as much so with all the extra work he had to do in changing the oil for this offroader. He assured me that the original oil he drained was about as pristine as oil can be, no metal shavings etc, but being the meticulous person I am I don't mind the extra expense in going overboard.

OK, OK, I get it Mike. Give me a day or two more & I'll get it there. I've just been so busy using this truck getting equipment hauled around that I use on my property site that I just haven't thought about the pictures.

Hey guys, thanks for the Welcome Mat on the Sunset Bronze that I just turned over the 1st 1k miles. I'll get pictures up in a day or two, right now it's raining here.

So far I've put a Zee Dee bed mat in it, $100. It seems more important to keep the the stuff I load into the bed from denting it & it prevents stuff from sliding around, don't get that with the spray-ins. May put in a retractable bed cover of some kind so long as it doesn't reduce the useable length of the 6.5 foot bed of which I need every inch for loading my lawn tractor which is only 1" shorter than the bed.

The other day I loaded the tractor into the bed from off the hillside & that was so easy, just backed the Tundra up to the point of the hillside where the tailgate drops evenly onto the incline of the hillside, and presto, easy load, no ramps needed. More later....

Cap, it is really odd about the color, that depending on what angle you're looking at it the color changes it's shade. Did you notice that in the picture? I guess it has to do with how the sunlight hits it that it appears darker or lighter. It shows up lighter in sunlight & darker in the shade when taking pictures of it.

Hey Mat, thanks. So far I have 1070 miles on it, dropped in a Zee Dee bed mat to keep the bed from getting dented when I threw firewood logs into it over the past weekend. I'm thinking of adding tubular running rails, like the looks of those better than a running board.

Now my wife is mad at me, I spent all our Friday night fish fry money to buy this thing & now she has to cook.

Hey, thanks......yeah, I get a lot of comments on the color, it was the basis on which I ended up buying this model Tundra, it was available only in the Limited, so I ended up spending all my wife's cookie jar money she was saving for eating out twice a week. Now we can't go out twice for the rest of the year just because I had to have this color.

If you notice right over the nose of the hood pointing at the garage you will see an open door with a barely discernible backside of a silver vehicle, that is my wife's 4-Runner.
