Just in case anyone is wonder8ng how to tap into the cargo light wire on a 2018 CM Limited, I have found it. It has been either a brown wire or grayish purple on previous threads but turns out mine was the pink 18 gauge wire in the driver's side rear door seal. Hope this help for people trying to hook up bed lights or something.:):)

There are also the actual Toyota bed light instructions for the 2018 Tundra posted in another thread. They address the correct wiring.

Thanks!! That helped a lot - after the black, brown, and greyish wires did not deliver any current I was about to check them all - your 18 GA pink wire (the larger of the two pinks) clue saved the evening - or at least 30 minutes and frustration!
Bed lights done and they work great! Horns next... I took the red horns apart and painted the grates/cages/grills (whatever those are called) orange to match my inferno - they will be seen a bit behind the grill. Thanks again!!

New guy here, looking to wire bed lights into cargo switch. Would anyone have pics for the process? More of a visual learner. Have a 2018 CM limited.

Just pull up the driver side, plastic sill. Below it you'll find a bunch of wires. Above it says it's the larger of the 2 pink wires for an '18

Thank you, need all the help I can get. Not completely incompetent just unsure. The pink is where the pos wire ties in, what of the other?

The other, for your lights should be black and goes to ground. There's a cover, down low in front of the driver door and just below the dash. It's held in by 1 plastic nut close to the firewall. The cover slides aft when removing. Behind this cover is a great place to connect the ground. You'll see a bolt that already has several grounds connected.

Just to make sure guys, is it the wire on the left side? Above the tape.

Hi, sorry but I had the hardest time trying to find that "pink" wire in the driver side door seal. Can you or someone take a photo of your actual wire connected? I have all my wires ready to go but couldn't find it and didn't want to play trial and error. Thanks in advance.

I have the strongest belief that it is the wire on the left side. Look at the attached picture. The bigger wire of the Two pink

Yes, it is behind the driver door. So the rear door behind the passager. You will have to cut some tape and get inside the wire loom

Ran the wire through the hole that was already exiting in the bed. I ran the wire in a wire loom underneath the truck and came out through the front passenger grommet.
