What’s a great weekend with all carnage.
I have too much fun on the Powerline road and ended up like thisA9D9E08B-AD98-492C-B6B1-64DEBD95B0F2.jpg226AFDB3-305A-4F27-A859-30EC21F7D18B.jpg

    Lol. Yep.

I won’t even run that trail anymore if rain is in the forecast in a 50 mile radius.

It was an eventful weekend with weather, an epic stuck and a broke with a MacGyver type (@osidepunker) trail fix. So much fun.
That spot Alex was stuck in was so deep and thick a dirt bike tried it and had to be towed out.
Lined up under the railroad tracks.

So what exactly happened - Lost the bolt or something broke? Can't really tell in the pic other than a rod is thru the uniball and strap holding it in place

With @osidepunker ingenuity engineering taking the bottle jack handle, hose clamp, strap and ratchet I was able to drive my truck to the pavement.

Still not sure what actually broke? Looks like just the bolt is missing. Mine doesn't have a collar at the top only a bolt that goes thru the uniball to the spindle. The uniball is held in with a clip on the bottom and sits against the cup. Maybe it's different than mine- but like to know in case I need to throw something in the random box for possible trail fixes.

[IMG] You mean the uniball spacer that sits in the uniball broke? Maybe I need to throw one in my parts bin.

@n2deep Please see the photo below, the highlighted piece was broke off so I removed the bolt, nut upper and lower spacer of the uniball so I can put the bottle jack handle to strap the UCA to the steering knuckle.

Ahhh got it- the actual spindle - I was thinking something on the UCA broke since there was no bolt. Got it.

It was a really fun trip. I just remembered, to the right of us in that photo under the railroad tracks bridge there is a running stream. It was flowing pretty good. I wish I would have taken video of us going through it. The crossing was short and simple but I have never personally seen that much running water in that spot before.
