Audio head unit replacement

i have seen the Kenwood and Alpine units my question is I like the 9” Alpine but I need to have my Bluetooth for phone and XM radio what is best way to go?

 

Just my opinion I would suggest the Kenwood w idatalink. You can buy the harness that will retain and use your stock xm antenna as well.

Pioneer makes good units too.

Will soon be enjoying CarPlay with waze once you’re all hooked up (if you’re on iOS).

If you go with the kenwood and idatalink, the only feature you will lose really is live rewinding from FM radio and on the center dash display you will no longer get navigation, but you will gain better nav and a bunch more features.

 

Can someone tell me what these plugs go to? This is the radio that came with my Tundra. It has CD/AM/FM/XM and bluetooth. There are also plugs for USB and Aux below the temperature controls. The steering wheel has radio controls also. I'm replacing my radio with a Kenwood and using the iDatalink Maestro RR that I got from Crutchfield. But the top two plugs didn't connect to any of the new equipment. I've searched the net for diagrams, but had no luck.

 

The blue plug is for the XM radio antenna. I had 2 plugs that came out of the radio that did not go to anything. I installed a Kenwood and the iDatalink Maestro as well.
