Ugh. But it’s better than your truck being hit and others possible being injured.

    Going aftermarket now?

If they did flares or cones, they need to be a good distance back to divert traffic out of that lane

Yep...that sucks. You're still alive though. Probably going to be interesting getting the tow too I'm thinking.

When I did highway patrol we had those big rubber push bumpers. I've never done damage to anyone's vehicle or heard of anyone else causing damage. If damage did occur my department would pay for the repairs .

Yep. Ford Explorer Interceptor with the big push bar. Only needed to be pushed 30 feet but it fucked up the bumper.
His captain had to come out and write a full report. They have their own claims department for this and it will get fixed. Already got the case number. Just really sucks. This will be the THIRD replacement bumper for the damn thing. Fucking pissed.

Frustrating for sure...but could of been a lot worse. Hope you figure out the issue with starting and shutting off and get your bumper done quick

Scored big time the last 2 days. Bought a new TRD Sway Bar in box from a guy on Craigslist for 100.00 and bought a brand new in box Amp Research bed extender for another 100.00 from a different guy on Craigslist.. I am a happy camper.

    Pushed to safety.
Honestly one of the coolest NHP officer I met today. I have no problem with what he insisted. He couldn’t even get a tow truck for 30 minutes and AAA was 45 minutes out. With 3 near misses every 5 minutes, odds are someone was gonna lose really bad. We both knew what was gonna happen with the plastic bumper covers on the Platinum.

Chuck it in the fuck it bucket and move on. I’m glad nobody got hurt. Trucks are easy to replace. But obviously not in the best of moods.

His is good. Best I've had was in Mexico. Unfortunately he doesn't make it very often. But when he does I get an invite because there's only three of us that like it. Rest of the family doesn't like it. (Dad Mexican and mom German)
