I think you’re looking for offest right? So the tire sticks out?

I like a +20mm offset for pocketed fender flares.

Yes! This looks great! This is stock TRD PRO Suspension. What size tires? Would it make a difference on the TRD Sport due to the 1.5 inch difference between the suspension lifts of the Sport and PRO? I don’t want rubbing.

I’m not too sure to be honest. What tire size are you going with?

    Haven’t quite decided. Maybe 285/70/18.

Personally I wouldn’t go much bigger than that without a lift.

    Why not a leveling kit?

Understandable. I think if you want bigger tires and pocketed fender flares you should look into it.

Kind of curious on this topic. The new 2019 TRD PRO with the Fox system, it's claimed that it was already lifted by another 2 inches. 285/70/18 should not be a problem with rubbing or is there another route I need to go. Going to the size 285/70/18 is something I am thinking of as well but want to keep as close to stock as much as possible. I'm still new to all this truck talk.

A lot of people here are running 295/70 on their Pro's with little or no modification. I decided to go 285/70 on mine to be safe and to save the weight. This is my first foray into the truck mod scene as well. Loving ever minute of it.

My wife not as much. My wallet even less! :spending::spending::spending:

Thanks, really wasn't sure. Guys at Discount Tires said same but wanted responses from real people who have actually took this route. One thing I realize is that the price of this new truck does not end on just buying the truck. It keeps going till 1) I cant afford to add more to it. 2) the aftermarket stuff no longer gives me any new cool options to buy. Yes, it's a self inflicting giddy (when I see something I want for the truck) and pain (damn it, why is this burning a hole in my pocket) at the same time.

She gets dirty but doesn't stay dirty that long. As soon as I'm done playing, she gets wash within a week if not the next day. It also helps she fits in the garage.

Not yet but will be next spring when Nitro comes out with 5.29. But I'm still debating between 4.88 and 5.29. Ideal is 4.92 purely based on diameter change, without accounting for the gain in mass. My understanding is 5.29 will have one less teeth making it weaker. I will also add rear locker when I re-gear.

Back to the original topic, make sure to put a clear 3M tape between the flare and fender meets. It will rub off the paint if you don't.
