here is a nice to see the difference in tire size before you buy and here is an with preview , right now I have 275/55/20 and will be moving up to 325/60/20 $995 after rebate after a 3inch lift in the front and 1 inch in the rear. this how my truck looks now. I still have about %75 tread left on my current tires, what should i ask for them?

If you want to maximize towing and mpg, keep it close to stock.

Every truck is different but in general...
    35's don't fit without lift/chopping
34's need 2" and maybe rolling in the front fender (295/70R18)
33's is what I'd do if I towed all the time, no lift/level (275/70R18)
32's are stock (275/65R18), anything heavier is a mpg hit

Toyota doesn't give us much in the front wheel well, stock offset is +60. If you get new rims, keep it at least +20 to avoid rub. This is 35" 0 offset on 2.75" lift, cuts required to make it work:

Millage is pretty much the same. I did feel a slight power lose just from gunning it at the light but not much. I have pulled the same load through the mountains when it was stock and with the 33s it does search 5th and 6th gear more often the it did stock but again very little deference.

Here's 33s with 3/1 ProComp leveling kit. If I had it to do over I'd go 295/70/18. (Psst: I know where I can get you a set of 33s with only 5000 mi on them.) :spy:InkedIMG_9614_LI.jpg

I'm in the same boat. I like them for the mpg, power, and price. 75% of the time I think they look ok. 25% of the time I think they look a little small. I don't think they look out of place or draw attention.

My 275/70/18s have a lot of life left in them as well. I will run them until I need new tires. It would bother me more to put on new tires when I didn't need them.

This looks great! I've come back to look, like 5 times, tonight. Thanks for posting pics! I wish everyone else that weighed in would edit and add a pic. :)

Can you (patiently, as though it's not been answered 1.329k times on this forum) tell us what you had to do to fit them: wheel offset; trimmed/ removed what? Thank you!
Yep. Can't buy new shoes when I've got perfectly serviceable shoes now. But, when these wear out... options!

Is there an easy way to tell what my lift is? It came already lifted, and I didn’t get anything telling me what it is. I have 33’s now, but would like to go with 35’s when I eventually get new tires.

295/65/18 on a 2/0 lift. Same lift as a PRO. They will fit with a stock bumper, based on research here, but you need to massage the inner front plastic a little.

Wheel offset is +25 and I believe it's a 6" backspacing. Skid plate has been trimmed, pushed fender well forward about a inch and trimmed the mud flap where it cover's the cab mount. Truck is sitting on bilstein 6112's at 1.9 setting in the front with a driver side CB shim.

Those 33’s 275/70R18? I think they look pretty good.

An aggressive tire and wheel, lower offset than +60, and lack of fender flare makes them look bigger too.

3/1 lift gives it balance to the eye where the center of the wheel is lower than the bottom of the body, a truck stance.

I’m 295/70R18 +18, 2.5” lift, 2 mpg loss at least. Next time I’ll go 285 and lighter wheel. The fender flare gives the illusion they’re smaller.

They’re 33x12.5. My truck was too new to say what affect they had on MPG when we towed a 30ft TT 2300 mi to OR and back this July. It was less than 9 MPG at times.

That’s why it looked wide in your pic! Nitto RG 295/70R18 are 11.7”. Haven’t checked weight differences as I don’t know your brand/model, but I suspect the same mileage if you were to do it again and went with 295’s like mine. I also pull a 30ft TT, about the same mileage as you. Your 33’s also cost more than 34” 295’s.

I don’t tow often or far so the mpg loss isn’t a huge deal. The slight benefit is I feel more planted with heavier wheels/tires over stock I guess.
