So I leveled and stuffed some big ol Ridge Grapplers on and thinking about some fender flares. Can either go with pockets or smooth and want to get it right the first time. Of course taste and style is always subjective but figured I would poll the experts. I have no plans on lifting any further and want a well balanced look. Leaning toward black but may consider Blazing Blue to match. Would appreciate any recommendations and photos...

Been thinking about the same for my blazing blue. As you said, it's subjective. With modest lift and not too much overlap of the tires, my vote is color matched smooth. But that's just me. Do what makes you happy.

While I like the aggressive look without, rocks were chipping my sides. I'd vote smooth flares if you want a clean look, riveted flares if you want a rugged look. Bushwackers, not mine but you can see it looks more OEM if colormatched.

Here's mine colormatched, even though it's black, it's the same gloss 1:1 as the body:

Thanks for all the feedback. Pro Comps are a bit big for my taste and still thinking about none and smooth. I have seen the bushwackers, any insight to other brands for a smoother look?

Yep, stick to proven ones, I’ve seen people here taking off or returning cheapies. My buddy has huge gaps in his knock-offs. Bushwackers completely hug the body with a nice form fitting rubber channel. Water rolls away, not in between.
