Lots of damaged and flat tires around DFW due to all the construction. Folks don't care to clean up their site and secure their tools and such.

are those duratracs? i'm in the air between KO2's and Duratracs. I hit the mountains i almost every snow storm to go snowboarding so my only hitch is how they handle in snow, otherwise i think it's a toss up?

yep DuraTracs on the boys Tacoma, there are about 35k-40k on them. Like it has already been said, you just need to watch out for the sidewalls. I cant remember if I have D or E load rating. Either way they have been very good or us!

    That brings back memories.

It was mid-summer, 1999. Got a flat, put the spare on. Next day on my way home, the spare blew out, with about seven miles of empty road ahead of me. No cell phone.

Luckily about halfway a friend’s wife saw me and picked me up.

Sorry, they handle very well in the snow, been up Hoosier Pass and Monarch Pass, Loveland Pass many times, no problems.

that's what i'm talking about. forgot about the sidewalls, i'll make sure i can get E's but if not i'm going KO2. might be worth the savings too.

I have KO2 on my Tundra, quite a few people do. I don't have any complaints about them either. Some folks have had balancing issues with the KO2s.

yeah, i've read that too, how're yours? since we're at the same altitude and crazy temp swings i'd expect to be close to what you're getting. I'm coming from Toyo Open Country M/T's and those fuckers won't stay balanced for more than a month i swear. can't stand them and can't wait to get rid of them even if they've got more than 50% of their tred left...

I haven't had any problems with mine. My youngest boy has them on his Tacoma (both boys drive Tacomas), no problems either. 1 of his tires does need extra weight to get it balanced though, something like 2 oz.

Man it figures. I went outside to grab my lunch out of the truck and it was tilted backwards, my freaking driver side rear died this morning on the way to work. Headed in the to discount tire now to get a whole new set. Pretty good timing considering I was about to pull the trigger on a new set anyways.
