    Not unlucky. I was definitely speeding. There’s a spot where it goes from 60 to 50 and back again in about a mile. I usually know to slow down right there, but I just wasn’t paying attention to where I was.

    Hopefully I’ll get deferred adjudication like last time.

    First one in my current truck. The last one was at 5am also. I drive down some long empty roads in the morning. The lucky one was the guy behind me. He was following at the same speed, and the cop went around him and pulled me over. I bet he was happy.
    The last time I got deferred, I didn’t even have to take a course. I paid a hundred bucks and couldn’t get another ticket for three months.
    If all else fails, I’ll invoke my right to trial by combat.
