    Just turned 100K miles on my 2007 Black beauty. I'm a 2nd owner and haven't had any issues with the truck at all.. I don't think the original owner followed the maintenance schedules (I know the timing belt has been changed and oil changes have been very regular.) What should I do now? help! Thanks

    Welcome to the site! Glad your Tundra is treating you well.

    By the way, Toyota changed their timing belts to timing chains in 2007. Never needs replacing. :cool:

    Can someone list (in order) what they would do if their Tundra had 100K miles and hadn't had any scheduled maintenance performed. Maybe I can do a little at a time ;)

    Does the belt look cracked, change in color, or ripped, tears or squeak when starting(getting loose) if so change it.. if not it's generally ok..

    Any records of when the transmission was serviced or water pump changed transfer case and diffs oils where changed last?

    By the book at changes oil changes transfer transmission and diffs are 128k for your truck. .. that's assuming the previous owner did it by the book.

    Water pump you just keep a eye on it for leaks.. there is no set change out on it.. when it leaks replace.

    Eh, start small (easier said than done) build slow, and do as much of it yourself as you can. You'll have a buck or two left over! LOL for me, had to start out with a lift and tires, interior LEDs, window tint, and MPG mod. Getting wheels in a few months I still have enough to buy a stick of gum or two! Hahahaha

    Welcome from TX. Go to a local lube shop and they'll be happy to pull a sample of your fluids and they'll tell you which ones might need replacing. Go to one you trust though.

    Welcome from CO, Brit. I just finally turned over 67K today. If you were lucky enough to have the original users manual for your 07, it will show all the recommended preventive maintenance intervals and what should have been done. I got lucky. I have full maintenance records from day 1. First thing you need to do is log on to Toyota Owners.com. Register, enter required info, including the VIN#. Any history of your Tundra, by the dealer or previous owner, if ever recorded will show up. If there is nothing, then start a new record. I'd forget "local" lube shop at first. Go to your local dealer for the first look around/background check. "Local" lube shop won't know crap about your Tundra.
