Welcome from Japan. Also a Taco to Tundra convert. Seems like a common trend, especially since the unveiling of the '16 Taco.

Welcome from South La!! 99 Prerunner to 99 s10 (only because it was all I could afford at the time) to 2012 tundra.

I got a lot of grief from the Taco boys for trading, but it was a nice drive this am. From Pueblo to Colorado Springs the Taco on cruise was like a crack head. Shifting gears all the time at any bump in the road. Would go from 6th to 4th at two small grades. The Tundra today, shifted once for the last hill Fountain hill before FCCO gate 20.
I loved that Taco, I searched for a lower gear set something lower than the manual 3.09's, but not available. I think the Taco would be a much better towing platform if the rear end gears were low enough to let the 3.5 lug a little. Don't suspect any such things with the Tundra. Heading to 10000 feet next weekend, we'll see.

The Taco boys hate me so much, they dumped my posts from the TW forum. Damn. LOL.
Got so much grief I had to double check my math.
On average the Tundra is larger than the Taco by 12 inches. That includes length and wheel base at 26 inches.
So much more power, practically the same size in width, height at 6 inches more and track is only 5 inches more.
A loss of 3 mpg so far with a 381/401 (?) HP/TRQ engine, and I have to pull into a parking lot a little slower.....maybe.
I miss the Taco, but the Tundra is great compromise IMHO.
