Some of y'all may have seen my post last week about totaling my 1st gen Tundra, and well for the past week she's just been sitting in the parking lot of my university outside of my dorm. Went out today to grab my stuff out of the truck and found a note on my windshield asking if I wanted to sell, cash in hand.
Called the guy and he's got a 1st gen that he could use parts for, just wondering what a good asking price for the whole package would be? Called my brother who's a technician at BMW and he said for me to throw out the price of $3500 and told me to leave everything on it(lift, tires, bull bar). Think that's a fair price?

Don't want to come out with too high of a number, but also never sold a totaled vehicle either so this is new for me. Do I take my tires? They're 2mo old KO2's.
    Thanks guys

She also runs and drives great, no issues with the drive frame, no frame damage that I can tell, nothing broke or cracked

Honestly that seems high to me. But it’s worh what someone is willing to pay. I’d keep the tires for your next truck.

You can always go down in price from your starting point. Start high then negotiate down!

Just looked on my local CL and a totaled V6 Tundra (seized engine per listing) going for $1500 (too high even for here).

Mines the V8 but thanks for the input, helps to know what's reasonable before going in and making an offer

I just purchased a running and driving AC Limited 4x4 with 226k for $1100 just to throw that out there. It also has a 2" lift, and a nice full grille guard.

I'd say throw $2000 out there and see what he says. What happened to the truck?

Depreciate the accessories accordingly and add to a base price of $1500-2000. List the adders for him.

Lol that's fair, apparently the guy didn't want to come anywhere near my price of $2k so now he's buying the front bench seat and dash on Monday, I'll see how much I can get out of him then.
But I lost traction down a mountain road, went sideways and my back right tire caught a ditch which sent us airborne. Rolled her 2 3/4 times

How difficult would it be to swap the front bench seat out of my tundra into another 1st gen with the center console?
I'm starting to consider buying another tundra then swapping everything over onto it

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
You can probably get 2k out of it by parting it out. Takes alot of time to get it torn down and cleaned up for sale though.
If engine is good you could get an easy $500 whole or more.
    Transmission $200
Tires are only 2 months old. Not sure on size but lets say you bought them for 1000 so you can lower it a bit $500-$800
    Wheels maybe $100-$200 total
    Axles maybe $100 each
Then there is so much more......seats, dash, frame, bed, bull bar, headlights, tail lights, light bar, bumpers, hood, tailgate .........
    It all adds up.

Yeah, that's quite aways from Amarillo. Mine has 315k miles on it. I was considering getting yours and putting my body on it.
