I need to get rid of the chrome mirror caps and door handles. Should I do color matched or just standard matte black?

The sound system really sucks. I already ordered the ********* SQ1 to upgrade that.

Also ordered the NSV LED hood bulge light from Headlight Revolution. Once that comes in, I have a 20" KC Lights LED bar to mount behind the bumper.

I like the colormatched door handles but black mirror caps. If the whole mirror was blue it would look great, I think the cap gives kind of a striped look which I'm not a fan of

That's why I asked. The rest of the mirror is matte black. I'm torn.

There are a few pics out there. IMO it's too much contrast. I'd go black and blue on door handles

Level + bigger tires and more aggressive wheels (offset), black out chrome and you’ll have one nasty ride Batman

I'm sorry, I just now am able to see your pics and see you have a black truck. Color matched mirrors will look really good, same with door handles. Question is....is the gloss finish worth the extra cash over matte? Idk. Maybe matte mirrors and matched handles?
Also I'd suggest looking to a different front suspension than the 5100s. Preloading your OEM coil will result in a level look but at the cost of your current smooth ride, it'll be stiffer by quite a bit. IMO the platinum has a nice smooth ride and I wouldn't wanna lose that. For a $50k truck I can't see going cheap on the lift but that's just me, and I dont have a lift, but did have 5100s on my Tacoma and did not like them.

Is there a thread on tacotune?

Here is a pic of my last truck. Had the 5100 with 20x10 rims on Toyo AT 295/55. The 20x10 rim was lil much and needed to have lil bit of cutting to get rid of slight rubbing as I didnt want to pull the plastic .

XP is a package offered by Toyota. It looks like it is limited to the Southeast.

I thought Sotheast Toyota regional package was best. They used to have 3 levels XP XPX and XPSX. The XPSX used to give you a little DRL before they were a stock part

My experience has been different than yours. I’ve had 5100s on the middle setting and 285/65/18 KO2s for about 1 1/2 yrs now and it is smoother and rides better than stock IMO. The stock Platinum suspension is very soft and floaty and the 20” tires don’t help the ride at all. My decision to go with 5100s wasn’t based on cost but that they did what I wanted for my type of driving, which is on paved roads.
