I'm an RPG nerd myself. Like seriously. I've had the FF7 remake pre-ordered on Amazon now for like a year with no real definitive date of release.

Does better shit to do include looking at a Gaming console thread poll, to which you let us know that you don't play video games and got better shit to do?

Well Sir, I have foreseen this conundrum. And have given you an option in the poll.

Oh, you were talking about this other poll... I thought... Anyhow, yes I believe I have made it to where you can select multiple options now.

Colecovision! It was a strange console with a joystick and a phone pad for controls. It also had an adapter to play Atari games, which is pretty impressive looking back.

I still have one somewhere, just don't have a TV that works with an RFU adapter.

I looked it up on Wiki. Apparently it did pretty good. They Sold like 500K units before the Christmas of 1982. Then I looked a little more and found out that its demise was from the great video game crash of '83. Hell I didn't even know there was a video game crash.

When I was a kid my fingers got stuck under the joystick a few times. They had this cool feature where certain games came with a thin slide card, the card overlaid the controls number pad to act like instructions, they let you know what the buttons did on that game. Forward thinking really, a shame they didn't survive.

    Check it out

That’s pretty cool you’ve got stuff left. When I was younger and moved out of my parents house, my punk ass sister sold my nintendo Atari and all the games in a garage sale lol :annoyed:

I play on PC when possible, then I have a PS4 for console-only games. I actually also just bought a Switch yesterday for those exclusive Nintendo games!

PS3, but I don't game. I have one game title that came with the unit which is still in the wrapper. I use the PS3 as my media center. 1TB hard drive for all my CDs, bluray player, PS Vue streaming. I've never been any good at games. Ever..

Oh yeah. The ET video game killed Atari. The whole industry pretty much collapsed until the original NES came out. There’s a lot of interesting history on video games.
The PlayStation shouldn’t have existed. Nintendo licensed Sony to make a CD based console for them. They designed it, and Nintendo canceled the project. Sony went forward with it and released the original PlayStation.
I could go on and on. I’m a gaming nerd when I’m not washing my truck. I have pretty much every system that’s been released since the early nineties. I only really play the PS4 and XBone anymore. It’s been quite a while since I’ve fired up any of the older ones.
