Front Bumper Ends- Need Extension seals

I'm replacing my chrome front bumper ends with color match ABS ones. Does anyone that has done this know if you need the liner extension seals? Part numbers below. Thanks.

Extra parts for the front:

53882-0C060 $12.69
53883-0C050 $12.69

 

If it is part I am thinking they suggest it cause one of mine broke the tab and need replaced on change over

 

So for 30 bucks it might be worth it. Don’t want to pull it apart and have issues.

 

Id say yes. My dealership price matches so I found them cheap they priced matched and the one I didnt need I returned. Win win in my book as i didnt have to stop in process to order it.

 

Buy them. You can always return if you don’t break them.

 

You need them, the ones for the plastic ends are different.

 

In my opinion, sorta. You can make the ones that go with the chrome work if you had to. I chose to go ahead and get the correct parts. The ones for the plastic caps are different than those for the chrome caps, you'll see
