Guys & Gals - I just purchased a 2018 Tundra SR5 CrewMax and took it to a bodyshop to have the grille and bumpers painted with bedliner material.

As I drove away, I rec'd the two following errors:
    - Pre-collision System Malfunction
    - LDA Malfunction

Any ideas what this may be? Assuming something wasn't put back together right or just need to have messages reset?

    Thanks in advance.
    Richard

They painted over the sensors on the front? Or didn’t put things back together correctly.

I appreciate the feedback and will have it looked at. I don't think my model has the sensors, but will find out.

Can’t get errors is you don’t have sensors

If you have a 2018 you have the TSS radar in the front of the grille which is dynamic cruise control and pre collision warning. And your front bumpers caps have sensors for lane departure.

Upload a photo of the front of the truck. They probably removed everything and forgot to hook it back up. There is an access panel to the top right on top of the grille. Pop it open and see if the radar sensor is plugged in. The bumpers are more involved

I would say they didnt reconnect your sensors. Pop your hood and open that access panel. Says tundra on it. Look down to the lower left and see if theres a cable hanging there that looks like it needs plugged in
