    The earlier the better. People will say it is snake oil etc. I took apart my old ford 302 to upgrade the pistons cam heads.afr heads big cam nitrous the works. Everything looked new. Still had crosshatching on the cylinder walls. 150k on original 93 5.0ho
    And i can tell you i beat the s**t out of it. Allways ran moa changed oil every 5k with what ever synthetic was cheapest at the auto part store.
