DAP Tuning is really popular here, and I know the 2007+ guys have had lots of luck with custom tunes.

Are we 1st Gen owners out of luck in this regard?

Think it kinda depends. I’m sure @dirtydeeds has his tunded, but he’s running a pretty killer turbo set up...

There isn't one worth doing on a naturally aspirated motor. I have the Unichip, got it really cheap and the only reason I like it is the valet mode. It won't rev past 2k rpm with that on, perfect for valet or car washes.

I think underdog racing development (URD) makes one.

Weird it didn't link em like it does on TW.

Urd doesn’t have much presence here compared to on tw that’s probably why it didn’t link them

No ECU tunes, there are piggyback tunes like Unichip.

As far as I know URD makes a unit that changes the maf signal, I don't think it's even quite a piggyback, more like a calibrator.

Unichip is more like a piggyback with a lot of possibilities if you can tune it. In terms of flash tunes nobody makes one for this model

Could the URD setup tune enough to aid in any improvements in fuel efficiency?

Go to urdusa.com and send a message to them. Gadget emailed me back within a day or so when I asked if the 4.7L 4Runner/GX stage 3 supercharger kit for Tundra. (It does not, but they are working on a kit).
