I know that most will consider me some kind of freak. But my goal is to obtain the best power, acceleration, and fuel efficiently with a minimum of noise. Not interested in impressing people with the sound of my engine. I just want the power. Help me, please.

Adding a NOS sticker is good for at least 50 hp.

What do you have? IF 14 or 15, go with the supercharger. Done! I've seen guys getting up to 500-650WHP. But there is a whining noise. It's not about making you should be worried about. If you add more HP, you will need more breaking capability like Intake and "out take" aka dual or larger exhaust = noise. Welcome to the forum and good luck.

    A few things.
Talk to Keith @dirtydeeds industries, he makes custom exhausts for our trucks. He could make you one that is quiet but still gives you a nice performance gain.
The Hypertech Interceptor has also gotten nice reviews for our truck (improved shift points, more power etc)
And also, stay away from cold air intakes. No gains and makes your truck louder.
