Hah, well my cousin went a step further he divorced his wife. His brilliant Ex-Wife, the woman couldn't drive for crap at the time they were married. She decided to take his brand new BMW M5 without his knowledge to local Costco. She thought the yellow posts in shopping cart area was a parking space. That BMW ended up with two yellow pin stripes down the car. Needless to say she ruined a "30 Jahre BMW M5". One of 300 made world wide.

With a price tag if 325k, I would of divorced her too. Hell, if a girl touches any of my whips with me knowing and proceed to screw them up... bye Felica

Stuff is just stuff, my wife is a person therefore she has more value to me. I married my best friend and life partner. I could not care less that she can't drive and her current whip is all dented up from her bad driving. If you think otherwise, you may want to re-evaluate your priorities.

Doc’s driven my tundra countless times to pick up soil, haul packages, pick up furniture, etc and has not made a misstep. Of course it helps that her pops was a mechanic AND loved to build huge stuff like stables, barns, sheds. She’s no stranger to big trucks, she learned to drive in her dad’s dually for God’s sake!

Oddly enough, she didn’t know how to change a tire until I taught her LOL

Moral? Don’t let anyone drive your baby unless he/she knows his/her way around a bigger truck than yours! :D:D:D

In all seriousness - it is just a truck and it could have been worse. People make mistakes every single day. That’s what insurance is for.
Had it been a head on or t-bone, would you really be worried about the truck at all? I’d like to think “no”.

Don’t get me twisted, it sounds like you found the right person, and that’s good. With that said, in that cousins case, If she’s not respecting yours and hers vs ours, there are probably more problems behind closed doors.

And quite honestly stuff is just stuff until you have time in it. Things can be replaced, just as there are plenty of fish in the sea.

But what do I know. I’m just a jaded millennial who has relied on vehicles to get through the shit storms that we call relationships

I hear what you are saying. I think my perspective came from the juxtaposition of my father and his brother. My dad refused to have something that he could not share with his wife (my mom), but his brother's house was like a museum and his wife was not allowed to touch anything of his without express permission. That always bothered me. I felt like, why marry someone if you can't share life with them? I see girlfriends differently as you have not really made a real commitment to them. But, if my GF did something by accident, I would forgive because Lord knows I've screwed things up, like totally my friend's brand new GSX-R 750 on a canyon run

I would agree with you, but in his case it was the best decision he made. The woman was cheating on him. She would leave her kids unattended at their home and leave. At the time mind you they were at the ages of 5 and 3. He won full custody of his kids because she was unfit to be a mom.

Spreader upgrade!! Much easier than fixing your guys’ Tundras, and cheaper :p:D
For the record - my wife is the one that mows our yard. So she is able to drive (JD rider) one mechanical man toy of mine :D

Eta - I let the boy (6) drive the Grizzly 700 last night while laying down seed. He handles it better than his mom, no joke. LOL!

Again, more issues behind closed doors.

The car thing isn’t THE reason to leave, but it’s the straw that broke the camels back kinda thing.

Now that is a completely different situation. My cousin divorced his wife because she was cheating on him and was on meth, not because she totaled his '89 supra. Then of course, he did not get custody of the kids until she left the kids unattended in one state and went on a bender in another state. So when the cops got the call about unattended young children, he was finally able to pick them up and apply for full custody. Such an F-ing mess. The kids are adults now and really amazing. He is a great dad.

All that to say is I get it. If you issue is with stuff, check your priorities. If you have a cheating ho, or some other major issue, well that is very different! In that case, stay away from my baby ;-)
