We have some pretty amazing builds on here and some that are just a little modded out. As i have recently spent a a big chunk of money, i was curious as to exactly how much people invest, after they buy the truck. Im not looking for exact numbers, but feel free to share, if you arent too shy. I know im probably at about $15k after the recent purchases, with about another $10-$12k left to go.

I’m about $4,000. Lift, wheels, tires, exhaust, step bars... You’ve spent $15k on a 2018? I need to find your build!

You aint lying. I have never modded any of my other vehicles, either due to lack of funds ot i knew i wouldnt keep the vehicle long. I decided when i bought this one, that this was going to be "THE 1." With that said i dont think i was fully prepared

I havent done a build page yet, but most of that was recently purchased and waiting on bumpers to be built. Im about 5 weeks out on lead time. Baja Designs arent cheap and add up super fast.

Almost forgot all my Interior and exterior LEDs have been done.

Wowser. Sounds amazing. I just set up the dirty deeds group buy, but can’t decide which one to get. Which exhaust did you go with?

I know how much I’ve spent but I really don’t like to think about it.
    :lalala:
I had a guy ask me how much to build my truck in front of my wife. Bad news was I answered without hesitation.
    :anonymous:
I’m very happy with my Tundra build! Most people who don’t modify a vehicle don’t realize how quickly it all adds up.

I'm at a few grand right now. Tires, wheels and Bilstien 5100's making up the bulk of it.

Another few grand to go: upgraded battery, on board air, cap, roof rack, LED lighting inside and out, replace the headlight housings, LED light bar.

I’m having new tires installed again next week. My third set of Toyo Open Country MT’s 37/13.5/22. It’s just over 2k each time I change them! I’m thinking of doing a short cab build or long travel build for a second tundra.

FML! I had never thought about how much I have spent because aside from sull stereo upgrade, nothing was large chunks of $$. I just added it up and I’ve spent way more than I would have ever guessed. I’m a hair over $10K.

Problem is, I still plan to:
    1. (~$800) Get rid of my TRDP headlights in favor of 2019 TRDP LED and ihacker harness because I hate the GTR LED bulbs
    2. (~$2-3000) Finally get a decent suspension (I’m still running a cheap 3” spacer / 1.5” block setup). I just can’t decide what I want.

After that I’m done because I need to save pennies for the wife. She want to get rid of her Lexus in favor of a new Audi S5 Sportback

Sooo I have little to nothing invested in my tundra, but I’ve got close to 8000 in my 4 runner and at least another 6k worth in parts sitting on my garage floor... and I think 5k in my Mr2.... and about 10 worth of parts in my other Mr2 that doesn’t run...
