You have a double overdrive. 4th gear is 1:1 ratio.

You should have a Tow/Haul button, same thing essentially.

Tow haul changes the shift points and increases throttle pedal responsiveness. It has nothing to do with overdrive.

Well you're partially right. Years ago since the average driver didn't understand overdrive the automakers started using Tow/Haul instead of overdrive. Kinda backwards from what it used to be. My point is that since there's a Tow/Haul mode that means there is an overdrive.

Sorry to thread jack but is this for real. Do people really give a flying shit about gas mileage? It is a full size truck.

Ok. The long explanation. Overdrive used to be a separate box on the back of the gearbox that you had to engage or turn on. Then it became an automatic feature that you had to turn off when you were towing so the higher gears wouldn't wear out. Now the 'overdrive off' button has become the Tow/Haul button and extra features like shift point adjustments were added to larger vehicles like trucks for better towing performance. Technically overdrive no longer exists in modern day transmissions but the Tow/Haul mode is the modern day equivalent of turning it off.

Yeah good point. Nobody really buys a full size truck for its fuel efficiency.
