Wow, That's crappy. Their site says 18's and up with no mention of backspacing required. Rough country needs to get it together. Spindle must be wide right there. Wheel spacers would be the easy way out as said by @831Tun

Can the spacers really be trusted ? And it will be for all wheels right ?

My friend has a camburg LT that he has ran spacers on for a few years with zero issues. Just make sure it’s a quality spacer.

Can you attach the tie rod to the bottom of the spindle instead of the top? TC has. [IMG]

Good catch. I had to go and check real quick. That is reversed from stock. Unless Rough Country says that it needs to be flipped.

Just read through the rc instructions and they do flip it. The new spindle tapers in the opposite direction from a stock spindle. I assume they did this to make the angle better after the lift. They even state to swap the left and right so they curve properly.

Bora and Spidertrax can be trusted. I ran Spidertrax for about a year and did some good wheeling w/o issue.

That's exactly why they say to swap them, I'm a long time RC dealer/installer. I've seen this a couple times, not just from Rough country lifts either. This is why they specify the wheel specs on their notes page.
