I just had my 6112's installed today at the 1.9" setting. looks like the driver side is 5/16 lower than the passenger. Bro lean, I get it. To rectify, I saw that Boss makes a 1/4 shim. However, it says that it would give me .5" of lift. If I do that, it will just be bro leaning on the other side! How in the heck to I get rid of this 5/16 bro lean? Can someone please recommend what I need to buy?

    Thanks!

Take those predator bars off and sell them to me. I think they’re weighted heavy on the driver side to give that bro lean.... soooo, you need to get rid of them and it will all be fixed.

You need a 1/8" shim. I don't know if there's even one available. Or, you could just live with it.

Bro lean is when the entire front end of the truck sits higher than the back. Not side to side, that’s gangsta lean.

I'd call Coachbuilder. I had a similar issue of about 2" with the rear and installed a front driver shim, it leveled the truck out on all 4 by raising the other 3 corners to compensate for the added height.

How much gas did you have in the tank? It’ll probably change a quarter inch by just the gas level. So just get it within a quarter inch.

Just get a Coachbuilder shim for driver side then top your tank off and sit in the driver's seat and you'll be good.

Coachbuilder shim on the drivers side coilover.

I had 3/4" difference side to side after my coilover install. I installed 2 CB shims on the drivers side, perfectly level.

That is accurate. I've also heard it referred to as Carolina Struttin. My area of eastern NC is loaded with these ass-clowns. This is one phenomena that I can't understand in any way shape or form. The last automobile related fad that pissed me off this much was the extreme camber that tuners latched on to, there's tasteful stance, then there's just shit.

Carolina Squat/Strut is mainly Chevys, some Fords, all gas trucks, all clapped out. They must ask their shops to make the exhaust tone as obnoxious as possible at any throttle position. They lift the fronts, and I've seen a few recently that will compound that by dropping the back. The widest possible wheels that you can afford are mandatory. Some have also taken to the undersized width tires on oversized wheels, much like the euro tuners. This crowd also loves light bars, I've seen them double stacked, bars on the back of the cab, bars mounted where sidesteps would mount, you name it, they'll put an LED there.

These trucks certainly never see dirt, never tow anything, and serve no actual purpose. Rant over.
