Howdy Tundra family. Just wanted to say hello and say that I just ordered my first Tundra. Decided to trade in my 18 Pro Taco for a 19 Platinum Tundra. I was really leaning towards ordering the Pro, but the interior features on the Platinum sold me. Ordered it yesterday and should be here in a few weeks. Going to run a 3/1 Ready lift kit for the time being, until I decide on something better. Also putting Black Rhino Arsenal wheels on with Cooper STT Pro's, should look pretty sweet. Then more mods to follow.

Nice. Every time I get in my Gfs 18’ Taco Pro I’m so happy to have a Tundra. The things are damn small. And slow. I do like the interior of the Taco Pros better than the SR5 Tundras. I.e her interior is nicer than mine. The Platinum interiors are almost as nice imo. Maybe the seats are a bit nicer. Can’t stand all the chrome on the interior and exterior though

Getting rid of my Turd Gen Taco for the Tundra was the best vehicle move I have made in probably 20 years across six different vehicle purchases / trades. Welcome to the big boy club! ;)

Good move! I think you will enjoy the Tundra. I just recently traded up my ‘17 TRDOR Tacoma and have been enjoying the Tundra very much!

Another welcome from CO. I agree on the chrome comments. I was never blinded by sunlight reflections in either my 2008 or 2013 Tundra(s). This 2018 Tundra kills me. I think about it every day. Time to do something about it. I'll dip all of the parts soon.

Just traded my 2017 Taco TRD OR DC with V6 and Auto for a 2018 5.7 DC TRD OR w/5.7. I just could not get used to the drive train and I did not fit in it "right". Rest of truck was fine. I think they really poked the pooch on 3 gen Taco motor and tranny.

I have zero buyers' regret with the Tundy. Soooo smooth!

went from a 16 Tacoma sport v6 to a tundra. only reason was space constraint in the backseat of the Tacoma for hauling hunting dogs.

Thank you all for being so welcoming.
I did change my mind though. I went and ordered the TRD PRO Tundra in black. Just too much chrome on the Platinum, even inside. Plus, every time I see a Pro Tundra I'm jealous....not anymore :bananadance:. I could care less for heated and cooled seats and blind spot BS, I know how to use my mirrors. Comes standard with the moonroof and dual exhaust anyway. I'll just add some SDHQ (even if they are said to be a PITA to put on) or White Knuckle Offroad sliders and some 295/70/18 STT Pro's and be done with it.
