Hi, anyone familiar with TacomaWorld might recognize my name. I work on making custom grilles with how-to tutorials and have designed something for the 2000-06's.

I've been unable to find a local owner on my own who can help me test fit the first units, if you live in the West Michigan area and are able to help then please contact me.

To the best of my knowledge, it should bolt on the hood fine with a possible exception that one small cut on the inside of the hood may be needed (similar to a cut we make on 4Runners). I believe there is enough clearance for the hood latch, but that is an unknown at this time.

If you have any questions, just let me know. I'm not sure if there's a better place to post this.

UPDATE: The 2003-06's are good, but I am looking for a 2000-02 local owner.

The pricing for the mesh portion will be in line with the rest of our Toyota mesh products. It'll likely be $70 + shipping.

A fully completed replacement grill like the one in my original post would be significantly more, somewhere around $400-450.

Met up with @trailbikerider the other week and got his installed; pictured that the bottom.

Currently looking for a 2000-02 Tundra owner in the West Michigan area (I'm in GR) to test fit this one:

I'm in the Twin Cities MN area if you're ever out here. obviously a ways from Western MI, but figured I'd throw it out there.

The 2000-02 is finally installed. It's not as plug and play easy to install as the 2003-06 version but still doable. The mesh install videos I made for both are shown below.
