IMG_4084.jpg Just traded my 2016 Tacoma TRD off road for a 2016 Tundra CM Platinum.
I got a 2016 Tacoma Off Road last October. I loved most things about it. However, after a few long road trips, I found that the power on the interstate was just too insufficient for me. It was constantly downshifting and revving to high RPM's on any slight incline or strong winds. I had a 2nd gen Taco in the past, and didn't remember having that issue.
So, anyway. Have an awesome new Tundra now, and love the increased power, ride, and comfort of it! When I bought the Taco, I thought a Tundra would be too big, but now am wishing I had gone with the Tundra to begin with. Haven't done much too it yet - Just 20% tint, and some 255/60/20 BFG KO2's . More to come soon :)

I wanted a '16 Taco and had one on order. When they told me my ordered Truck was going to be about a month late arriving, I got my Tundra instead.
Never regretted the decision for a single minute.

I too, traded my 2016 Tacoma for a 2016 tundra. The Tacoma transmission was really jumpy. Especially shifting from reverse to drive. I love the extra room, and the power.
You got a nice looking truck. Keep us posted on changes.

I just moved from a 2005 Tacoma to a Texas Edition Tundra. Saw some of the same issues (shifting on an interstate rise, etc.) even with some mild mods done- opened the intake, added K&N, exhaust changes. Loved my Taco, but getting used to the big dog and doing some personalization. Not real happy with the mileage drop, but will live with it.

I went to the dealer to trade my 2013 Tacoma PreRunner SR5 TSS in on a new one and hated the new 3.5 engine. My 4.0 would walk away from it. Got a Tundra instead.
