    For what it's worth Beast.... Both my parents were born in Long Beach in the 20's. High School sweethearts at South Gate High School. A bit north. Dad died in 1976. My mom never remarried. Still alive at 92. Only one true love. My dad was kick ass great.

    Cool of them to let you pass. My smog guy wanted a carb sticker for my OEM air box just because it had a sticker on it o_O
    I showed him the Toyota stamps on it and he chilled out. He failed my GTI today because the secondary air pump said it wasn't ready to test!

    Get an OEM set up, you have 2 years before you'll have to smog again and one may pop up in classified here. It's a 15 minute job to go back to stock before smog testing, if you want to keep your bully dog one.

    Good suggestions on here. I'd buy an a old original air filter assembly and swap it out to pass the visual portion of the inspection.
    You'll find the aftermarket ones do very little but change the sound anyway.
    Youve got a year to find one. Any junk yard will have one Cheap.
