X2, great product. I can't believe a bottle of it was still around when it was finally my turn to pick.:D. @War Machine , I'm really impressed with that H20 spray that @driverdog gave to me to use. I will definitely add that to my arsenal.

The Hydro2? If it’s what I sent, it’s not diluted yet. You need to dilute it at least 4:1.

And yes, that stuff is amazing, and has to be the easiest sealant to apply on the market. It’s expensive, but that bottle goes a long way. What I sent was what was left of the first bottle I bought, probably a year ago, and pretty much every vehicle I’ve done in that time has been coated with it. I had recently gotten a new bottle, so I wanted someone else to get a chance to try it.

Hahaha, yeah the Hydro 2 spray. I looked at it on Car Pros website, along with some other products. I'm interested in this product and how it compares to Wax Addict .

@War Machine @driverdog , Is the Hydro2 a Car Pro product? I was just on their website to look up instructions and their bottle of Hydro2 concentrate says to dilute to a 1 to 6 ratio. Would a 1 to 4 be too strong?

I love Solution Finish, but I’m not sure how it would work on tires. The stuff is basically a dye. It’s pretty much a bottle of ink. Amazing on plastic trim, and I’ve used it in my nerf bars with good results. I’ve never tried it on tires. I’d say if you try it, make sure you don’t leave enough to sling anywhere.

Yeah, I'm looking to use it on trim and the plastic @ bottom of windshield, the area that fades quick.

Yes sir, and I knew it. I was sitting there thinking in my head that it was 1 to 6, but I wanted to be sure before I posted. The first search result was the Detailed Image forum, where I kept seeing 4 to 1 repeated. I’m glad you double checked that. I should have gone with my gut.

So maybe people are using it at 4 to 1, but I’ve always done 6 to 1. I know @Pudge uses it also. He may be able to verify.

I think you’ll like it a lot. Just take it easy with it. It goes pretty far. It’s also gonna stain any fabric it touches.

I found 1:6 was maybe even a little strong and left some tough to remove spots (it may have been too hot out when I applied it though). I tried 1:10 last time and that wasnt enough. I'll be trying 1:8 in a few weeks.

With the hydro2 is super important that the car isnt hot or getting at sun at all, has t had any sun for a while and wont get any sun until you've dried it. I had some spots at 1:6 ratio. But I'm starting to think it could have been a heat / sun issue. Other than that slight inconvenience I love the stuff, a bottle lasts a long time. It's very easy and quick to apply and protects well and for a very long time. I was shocked a spray on and spray off sealant came even close to working as well as this did

Here’s the bottle I have here. It says 1:6.

Both Detailed Image and CarPro’s forum say 1:4.

@Sky's the Limit Car Care @SouthBoundSteve can you guys help us out here? Are there different concentrations being sold?

Hey guys so we recommend that you follow all directions on the SKYS THE LIMIT WEBSITE. The manufacturer has direction on the bottles that we are sometimes able to have input in. When in doubt, check the website or give us a call and we will be able to give you the best info. diluting it 1-6 is actually our recommended dilution! The reason yours says 1-3 @driverdog is because it was an older batch. Even when that batch came out it was too strong of a dilution and should still be diluted 1-6. Sorry for the confusion!
