I think it tells you more info, like that you should clean the sensors? Also if the truck is lifted or has a custom grille or bumper it may mess with the system's idea of normal. This stuff is ultrasonic I believe.

You must have a bad one. I have only had it twice. Once coming out of a car wash and the second time offroading on the beach. It went away both times and have had no issues since.

Mine comes on occasionally, I am wondering if it happens in rain. The light always turns off eventually.

Mine has 400 miles on it and it has done it about 10 time so far, driving me nuts. I have started taking pictures to document it because I know Toyota is going to tell me I'm the only one.

I have an original 2018 (bought in October) and I never have it. I have had it twice but under extreme conditions so if you’re getting it allot there is a problem.

Mine started at the 3 week ownership mark. 9500 miles later it’s still screwed up even after 3 sensor replacements. Anyone hear of a recall yet? Not that it would help. I guess you can’t have a recall when you don’t know how to fix it.

Mine has done it a couple of times in 9000+ miles. Today it actually worked. 2 cars in front of me, the car decided he wated to turn left at the last minute and slammed on the brakes. I was starting to move to make the yellow and it went off.

My warning light has gone off twice. The first time was a few hours after some really heavy rain. The second time was during some heavy rain.

Unless it becomes more frequent, I'm not worried about it. We'll see.
